Thank you for your commitment to God through your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service and your witness through Riverside UMC. Carrying out God’s mission on earth requires all hands on deck. We can’t all give the same portion, but we can all give something.

The Bible encourages us to give proportionally. That means giving back a percentage of your resources (your blessings) to bless others and to further the work of the ministry. Determining what percentage you will share with God takes prayer and discernment. Please prayerfully consider your individual circumstances to discern what and how God is calling you to give.

Stewardship is about sharing ALL of your gifts, not just your money. Your time and talents are critical to the effectiveness and the growth of our ministries. Look at the list below and prayerfully consider checking one or more of the areas where God may be calling you to serve.

First Impressions (Help make every member and guest feel welcome and loved)

Youth Ministry (Volunteer to work with or on behalf of our youth)

Finance (We currently are in desperate need of a treasurer.)

Pastoral Care (Visiting/contacting the sick and shut in)

Tech Committee (Help ensure we are making the best use of the technology we have at RUMC)

Office Support (Help with basic reception duties, weekly and periodic mailings, attendance tracking, etc.)

Communications (Helping keep church members and community members informed in writing, via social media and more)

Prayer (Leading prayer groups, praying for/with others)

Music Ministry (Praise Team, Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, Musicians)
